This season in Crivero we have added to our collection of fur and leather jackets and accesories handmade belts and bracelets by Italian Designer Roberto Mantellassi.  All belts are made from the highest quality leathers and are combined with de luxe skins such as python and exquisitely designed metal buckles and clasps. 
Esta temporada en Crivero hemos añadido a nuestra colección de chaquetas y accesorios de piel, cinutrones y pulseras hecha a mano por el Diseñador Italiano, Roberto Mantellasi.  Todos los cinturones estan hechos de pieles de una suprema calidad, como de pitón, y hebillas y cierres de un diseño muy atrayente. 

 

All bracelets are also handmade with the most plush leather making for a soft and comfortable skin to skin feel.  The bracelets clasps have Swarovski crystals embeded or have and exquisite metal and leather finish giving these bracelets an overall divine appearance.

Leather Forever

Looking for something to do this May?  Well if you just happen to be in London, or to be specific, around the Royal Academy of Arts sister space on 6 Burlington Garden's you could stop in and visit the Hermes exhibition, Leather Forever, going on from May 8-27.  Visitors will get a peek into Hermes history starting from the time of Thiery Hermes in 1837 when the founder of Hermes started making saddles and harnesses up to what the brand is today, one of the most famous makers of handbags. 

Si por casualidad estas en Londres cerca de The Royal Academy of Arts sister space, 6 Burlington Garden's, podrias pasar por la exhibition de Hermes, Leather Forever del 8 de Mayo al 27.  Los visitantes podran tomar un viaje en el tiempo comenzando en 1837 cuando el fundador, Thiery Hermes, empezo haciendo monturas de piel y terminando con lo que es la marca hoy en dia, los fabricantes mas famosos de bolsos.  

This iconic brand, with their Kelly and Birkin bags, is the reason that women patiently or not so patiently wait months and spend thousands of dollars on a leather bag.  But not just any bag, the IT bag of the moment.  So those who can actually afford an authentic Hermes will be happy to know that the Parisian brand has decided to concentrate on increasing their production this year, especially in leather bags.  

Esta marca iconica, con sus bolsos Kelly y Birkin, es la razon que mujeres de todo el mundo esperan con paciencia (o no tanta) durante meses y gastan miles de dolares para conseguir un boslo de piel.  Pero no son cualquier bolsos, son los " IT bags"  del momento.  Para las que pueden permitirse este lujo, se alegraran saber que la marca Parisina ha decidido en 2012 incrementar su fabricacion de bolsos de piel para afrontar a la demanda. 

If you do not want to wait on a waiting list you can head over to the exhibition and participate in the auction of 4 unique leather bags which were made specially for the exhibition and the proceeds will be donated to the Royal academy of arts.  But maybe you are not in the market for a extremely expensive leather bag.  Well then you can still enjoy the exhibition where you can see artisans from the Hermes house showing their expertise and years of experience by making the leather bags right there on sight. 

Si no quieres que te pongan en una lista de espera para conseguir tu Hermes simplemente acercate a la exhibition y puedes participar en la subasta de 4 bolsos unicos hechos para este evento.  Aparte de conseguir un bolso te confortara saber que el dinero recaudado lo donara al Royal Academy of Arts.  Quizas no estas pensando en comprarte un bolso extremademente caro, entonces puedes disfrutar de los artisanos de la casa Hermes demonstrando su arte mientras que hacen sus bolsos de piel alli mismo.  

Also did I happen to mention that the entrance is FREE.  So go fantasize for a few hours and enjoy the history of Hermes.  And if you walk away still not owning a Hermes bag, remember you are still amongst the majority. 

Creo que no he dicho antes, la entrada es GRATIS.  Entonces no lo dudes.  Ve a fantasiar unas horas y disfrutar aprendiendo la historia de Hermes y si te vas sin haberte comprado un Hermes, no te preocupes, todavia estas entre la mayoria. 

Strawberry furs forever.....

With temperatures on the rise it seems like talking about fur should be out of the question.  But not so!  Springtime is the season for weddings, baptisms, communions and other more formal events.  Our sense of sociality seems to kick in and we tend to go out more to enjoy the nice weather.  So whether it be a cool morning or evening or that special occasion spring is the perfect season to wear our beautiful fur collars, stoles, capes and other accessories.  We can always count on fur for that added look of sofistication or as in the picture above, sexiness.  For that exact reason I love this picture.  The model above is wearing an electric blue dress with a very revealing strapless neckline and a matching blue fox stole.  I know that at weddings, for example, the Bride should be the center of attention but with an outfit like this the bride would definately have a hard time keeping all eyes on her.  

Con la subida de las temperaturas parece que hablar de la piel es algo ya fuera de lugar, pero no es así.   En la primavera podemos seguir llevando nuestros accesorios de pelo como bufandas o estolas para las noches frescas y durante el día ahora es el momento perfecto para disfrutar de nuestras chaquetas de napa.  La primavera marca el comienzo de eventos más formales, como bodas, bautizos y comuniones y no hay nada mejor y estiloso que una capita o un cuello de piel para poner ese toque sofisticado y sexy a nuestros conjuntos.  En la foto de arriba la modelo sale con un vestido con escote palabra de honor en azul y una estola de zorro en azul electrico.  Me encanta.  Se que en las bodas, la protagonista debe ser la novia, pero con este conjunto sería difícil.   

And since we are talking about the picture, I´d like to point out the strawberries, looks appetizing huh?  Well aside from fur, strawberries are another one of my favorite things.  Spring is the season for strawberries here in Spain and did you know that they are very beneficial for our health and our skin?  For example, strawberries help prevent and fight against cellulities (enemy #1 for us ladies).  A great DIY is to mash just strawberries or you can mix them with low fat yoghurt or olive oil and sugar to form a paste which we can then apply to our skin.  After 15 minutes we can wipe our faces clean to discover a tighter, softer and cleaner looking skin.  Strawberries contain hidrochloric acids which eliminate dead skin cells, clarify blemishes and helps fight against wrinkles.  So this spring there are no excuses why we cannot show off a radiant skin and our beautiful fur accessories in all our special ocasions.

Y ya que hablamos de la piel y mostramos esta foto queria señalar las fresas que esta comiendo la modelo.  Muy apetitosas, ¿No?  Pues ahora es su temporada y las fresas poseen propiedades muy beneficiosas para NUESTRA piel.   Por ejemplo, ¿Sabias que las fresas ayudan prevenir y combatir la celulitis?  Podemos preparar una mezcla de solo fresas trituradas o combinarlas con yogurt descremado o aceite de oliva y azúcar, extenderla por nuestra cara y retirarla después de 15 minutos dejandonos una piel mas tersa, suave y limpia.  Las fresas contienen ácidos hidroaciacidos que tambien elimina las células muertas de la piel, aclaran las manchas y actuan contra las arrugas.   Entonces ya no hay excusas para no lucir nuestras pieles y nuestra piel radiante en todos las fiestas y eventos esta primavera.
